St Vincent De Paul

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend at home, sadly we are still in lock down so that means more home learning yay. But besides that for re we had to learn about St Vincent De Paul andlearn about his life, so we read some articles explaining different things about him and also some videos showing what he did throughout his life. We also did a morning prayer before we learnt about St Vincent De Paul. But besides that our activity was to go on google maps and try and find the place where St Vincent De Paul lived, (which was in Pouy in France). Then our teacher linked a site where it showed where he lived like his house basically. A fun fact about St Vincent De Paul is that in the first 20 years of his life he seeked fame and wealth and he did get fame for his dedication to the poor, another fact is that he got captured by pirates and he had to be a slave for two years. We had to add some pictures so here is my little collage of photos of St Vincent De Paul's cradle and where in France he lives:

Here is a little Prayer to ask God about how we can be more like St Vincent De Paul:
Dear God, Please help us sinners to help others for example helping out the sick and poor and please lead us to the right path and help us to see the good in other people. Help us to be caring, respectful, genourous and just to be good in general. Whenever we see someone hurting another help us to have the courage to stand up for them even if they are a stranger. In everything that we do help us to be a better person to ourselves and everyone around us. Thank you Lord for everything you have done for us and help us to be just like you and put the goodness out of ourselves onto other people.
Amen.

Stay safe everyone!
