W.A.L.T write a descriptive story based on a picture

We had to write a brain storm in our books and add 30 things we could see in the picture, who are the Characters, what happened before the picture, what happened after and also what was happening while the picture was getting taken. The last thing you had to do was to write it on your device and include spelling, punctuation, checking to see if it makes sense and also best words.

The mysterious Adventure.

It had been three days since it had gone missing.
One minute she had held in her hand, the next it had vanished
right in front of her eyes. How could it just disappear?
The next day she went inside her cabin, she saw 6 pieces of
Diamonds and she also saw instructions included. Adalina read
it, and it said that there was 7 Diamonds in this set. She said
to herself, I have to find the last one and she had 3 hours to
find the missing piece. She took her clean magnifying glass.
Then suddenly she found what she was looking for, it was a
shiny blue Diamond and it was also a shimmery one.
She locked it with the other Diamonds and she started to turn
very tiny so that she could go in her dream door.

It was a dream that she had the other night and it’s about
when she goes through a secret door that leads her to a place
filled with unicorns!!!!!!

And that is where she lived from now on. The e-n but wait, I
need to describe her to you. Her name is Adalina, she loves
candy and chocolate, she is friends with a goblin and her hair
is brown, she also has really cool green eyes and she always
wears casual clothes.
Now it’s the end.

Kia ora everyone. My name is Kylie. I go to St Bernadette's school in Christchurch, My teacher is Miss Holland and she is my favorite teacher right now.

I am 9 years old turning ten next year in 2019. I was born in Christchurch. I have 5 people in my family counting me. My Dad, Mum, My twin siblings and Me! I also have 7 cousins!

My favorite things to do are painting, play games, read books and do some Maths that's why my favorite subject is Maths and I'm learning my Decimals at home.

I love the color blue and I also love dogs. That's for me today bye!

Our Amazing school!

WALT write a report that informs our readers about St Bernadette.
We had to make a brain storm for all of are Ideas.

Our School

Our school is a Catholic school and it’s called St Bernadette’s school.
We also have 121 children at our school, and 12 teachers, 7 teacher aides and 15 stuff supporters .

To start it up, let’s talk about what the uniform is.
We have a blue and red dress or cloth, a red tie, a white polar sleeve and a blue Jersey,
That is our winter school uniform.  
The summer uniform is a white short sleeve, a red hat, a blue Jersey and blue and red cloth or dress.

We have 3 bright playground’s but the senior playground is brown because it is made out of wood.
We have 6 dark colored Classes.
Right now some builders are remaking our church to make it a more fabulous church.

In our school we have special classes and they are, Choir, Culture group, Winter sports for year 5, 6, 7, 8
and I’m a year 5  so I go to winter sports and we have it every Friday, we have a production every
second year and Kiwi Can.

The thing that is really important in our school are the CERR values and they are Respect, Responsibility,
Compassion and Excellence, These CERR values help our school be a better school.

We have a blue fish, we have 4 four squares, hopscotch, a friendship chair, a prayer garden, chess, 3
courts, 1 for Netball, 1 for basketball and 1 for when we eat when it is summer time.

Try this yes or no poster!

Hello,
We were learning about keeping our private information safe, so we had to do a kahoot, yes or no poster, game, screencastify or a movie and I did a yes or no poster. We had to work in buddies and my buddie was Logan. If you didn't know what private information is well I am about to tell you what it is and it is your Phone Number, Your Email address, Full name, Password, Where you are going to be, Your School, Your Home address or some photos that people will know where you live, Birth date, Bank account or your credit card information, Workplace and Photos of your bedroom and your bathroom.

This Logan and my yes or no poster. What we did was that we started at the top and wrote the question then we put yes or no, after we putted lines then a question. So it just keep's on going.
I learned not to share private information to public or strangers also not online.

Creating Colorful Maori Colors

We learnt the colors in Te reo Maori. We sang this song Ma is white to help us remember.

Our task was to create a Google Drawing showing the different colors in Maori and I didn't have much time to finish my work but I will finish it when I have time.
